长期从事智能纺织品的开发与应用，主要包括：生物医用纺织品、微纳米功能纤维、针织服装与设计、智能可穿戴等科研方向。近5年来在Advanced functional materials，Journal of Colloid and Interface Science，ACS Applied Polymer Materials，Textile Research Journal，Fibers and Polymers、Journal of the Textile Institute等著名学术期刊发表SCI论文三十余篇。担任Text. Res. J.、J. Text. Inst、纺织学报等国内外期刊审稿人，已指导本/硕学生十余人。
